From Trench Foot to a spring in my Step
Who would have thought that during all the wet weather we have had we would eventually see a bright Spring day ? ! But the sun's now out and the spring bulbs and polyanthus are now blooming. We have certainly seen an influx of customers this week starting on their gardens, buying anything from shrubs to injecting their day with pops of spring bedding colour.
March is a time to plant seeds, making a start to control pests and weeds, prune winter flowering shrubs, divide perennials and plant shrubs. Don't forget to prepare your beds now with mulch manure or compost to get ready for all that planting ahead.
Coming to work in the Spring puts a big smile on my face and I'm sure by the looks of the happy faces I have seen it's also working for the rest of the people at Mayfield !
