Want to get involved?

We lead gardening initiatives to improve open spaces, community connections and positive wellbeing in communities, creating safe spaces to grow, learn and get to know your neighbours.

Participants don’t need any equipment or experience and all sessions are on a free, drop in basis. The gardening workshops are open to all ages and abilities from absolute beginners to keen gardeners.

All sessions start at 9.30am, free and all are welcome.

Community gardening has been proven to aid and facilitate people mental health recovery. There are many benefits to gardening such as; bringing the community together, making a positive impact to the area, personal fitness/exercise, grow your own, nutrition, education, meeting your neighbours and reducing isolation - just to mention a few.

We have also recruited 2 new support workers whom will work along the Community Development officer, Sherwayne Mitchell and Serafina Loren both have many interpersonal skills, enthusiasm and creative ideas to take the sites further and work with existing and new residents/volunteers. We welcome you!
