As a part of Solent Mind we are a Garden Centre and Horticultural Wellbeing service that supports people in our local community with their mental health.
All profits we make from our plant sales go back into our Wellbeing programmes.
Garden Centre
We stock a wide range of excellent quality plants to keep your garden looking its best all year round!
We also have a comprehensive range of perennials and shrubs suited to any aspect and varying soil conditions. We offer professional advice on our plants and if we do not stock a particular variety you are after, we will endeavour to source it for you.
Garden Shop
In our garden shop located in the nursery, we cater for all the necessary sundries you require to keep your plants in tip top condition.
We stock a whole variety of composts from 15L to 75L including standard potting and bedding, alpine and herbaceous, ericaceous, citrus, orchid, aquatic and cacti compost.
We stock plant feeds, pots, baskets, watering cans, repellents, pest controls, grass seed, grow bags, garden tools, bird boxes, bird food and plant seeds along with a selection of gifts and home and garden decor.
Sunflower Café
Why not enjoy a drink and a snack when you visit Mayfield?
Our café offers a range of hot and cold drinks and food along with a tasty range of cakes and sweet treats. Vegan and gluten free options available. We also have ice cream for those hotter days, including doggy ice cream.
Inside seating is located in the main greenhouse or we have seating outside in our covered area on more sunny days. Toilets including easy access and baby change facilities are located by our cafe.
